Are your financial eggs in just one basket?

I frequently get comments about how I'm involved in quite a few activities.  As you all probably know, I own a photography and design business, but also a wellness business.  Even those these two don't seem related, there is a reason I'm involved in each.  As a self-employed individual, I'm constantly thinking about income.  How much do I have, where is it coming from, etc.  One of the things about being self employed is that there is typically no residual income associated with it.  That is to say, if I don't work, there is no money coming in.  That has the potential to be rough -- especially in a down-turned economy or even an off season.  It has also made me very aware of the fact that I need not only multiple streams of income, but also a residual income source that will pay me even when I decide not to work. New TV Dinner: Citrus Grilled Halibut

Well, so much for committing to writing an entry every week.  Ha ha!  Oh well!  I'm back because I wanted to share a really delicious (and healthy) recipe that I fixed the other night.  I guess it was about a month ago now that I was flipping through the channels and came across a show with someone grilling something on the Food Network.  Turns out, the show was Grilling It with Bobby Flay (of Iron Chef fame).  I don't know if anyone else out there does this, but I find that I'll watch a show like that, or at least part of it, and say to myself...gosh, that looks really good, I should get the recipe and make it!  Well, I must have told myself that a hundred times, but I've never done it, until now.  And frankly, based on the results of this recipe, I shouldn't have waited so long!
